Native Custom Stone for LEED projects

Native Custom Stone is continually improving the way we manufacture our stone veneers, with a strong commitment to protecting and preserving the environment.

Below is a list of reasons why Native Custom Stone is an excellent choice for LEED-focused projects:

Regional Priority (RP)

With our manufacturing facility located in Dawsonville, GA, Native Custom Stone produces stone within a 500-mile radius of the majority of the projects we supply. We also source our raw materials locally whenever possible.

Materials and Resources (MR)

Native Custom Stone packages its stone veneers in recycled corrugated boxes, helping reduce cardboard and paper waste.

Our manufactured stone veneers help protect natural stone resources by reducing the need for large-scale excavation across the United States. In addition, our products are more than half the weight of natural stone, reducing installation time, labor costs, and overall shipping weight, which in turn lowers fuel usage.

We offer a 50-year warranty, making our products one of the most durable and long-lasting siding options available. Our lightweight concrete and expanded clay mixture will not rot, rust, or burn.

Native Custom Stone veneers are also nearly maintenance-free, saving time, energy, and money compared to materials like wood, vinyl, or stucco.

Because our veneers are made from concrete, they are recyclable. Any construction site waste can be ground and reused.

Our concrete-based veneers also contribute to thermal mass, helping regulate interior temperatures and reduce energy usage for heating and cooling.

Water Efficiency (WE)

Native Custom Stone uses a commercial digital water meter to optimize water usage throughout the manufacturing process.

Energy & Atmosphere (EA)

Native Custom Stone utilizes a Rinnai tankless water heater, providing one of the most energy-efficient water heating solutions available for our facility.
